On Sunday, June 14th 2015, CL360’s Thomas Cappiello, Kevin Reilly, Brian Reilly and Joseph Piccoli delivered First Aid & CPR/AED training to Garden City Community residents and fitness staff at Dimensional Training Studios. This promotion was the outgrowth of past collaboration between CL360 and the Studio management, including many shared values in the areas of personal wellness and preparedness.
The first part of the four hour training session included a first aid training video produced by the American Heart Association, with commentary given by Thomas Cappiello.
That was followed with demonstrations by the CL360 team of instructors on various first aid techniques such as the proper way to bandage a wound and set a splint.
The students were then shown how to administer CPR utilizing CPR manikins, as well as how to apply an AED to a victim of cardiac arrest.
At the end of the session each student received their own Tourniquet, CPR Face Shield, a CPR/First Aid/AED training manual, and a CL360 brochure.
