Tactical Responder Certification (TR-C)
Times are changing and EMS needs to keep pace. Today’s evolving threats make Rescue Task Force (RTF) operations a moral imperative. Escorted warm-zone tactics are being adopted by most jurisdictions across the nation. Finally, there is a program designed to train non-paramedic responders to employ BLS medicine in potentially hostile and austere settings. Command Logic 360 is first-to-market with its rigorous, two-day (16-hour) curriculum that prepares responders for escorted warm-zone operations and other challenging environments.
- Day-1 provides a thorough review of Certified Tactical Responder (TR-C) exam material. Administered by the International Board of Specialty Certifications (IBSC), the TR-C exam certifies a knowledge-base covering team movements, casualty assessment, triage, point-of-wounding care, and rapid evacuation in tactical and austere environments.
- Day-2 consists of numerous, hands-on, skill drills and team-building exercises that provide the foundation for a successful outcome. Our ultra-realistic scenarios have carefully targeted objectives, each designed to build the muscle memory and confidence needed for operational medicine. Through repetition, our non-paramedic trainees also learn to operate within the Incident Command System and to overcome challenges in the three phases of TECC/TCCC.
The IBSC’s TR-C certification can provide an Incident Commander with a competent and credentialed Rescue Task Force that can answer the call. In association with the IBSC, Command Logic 360’s RTF training can prepare you to join a noble and highly skilled team that can bring peace-of-mind to your community.
