Civilian Casualty Care Training
Why should you train?
Accordingly, these lessons are now being applied here in our Homeland; the most significant preventable cause of death in the pre-hospital environment is external hemorrhage. Universal bleeding control is VITAL to saving lives, and ALL RESPONDERS — including civilian bystanders — should have the education and necessary equipment for hemorrhage control and other related interventions.
The inclusion of civilian bystanders as immediate responders to these events is a foundational element in building national resilience; they must be empowered to act, to intervene and to assist.
It’s not enough to “see something, say something” — the call to action is now, “SEE SOMETHING, DO SOMETHING”.
CL360’S Point-of-Wounding Care training will EMPOWER YOU TO SAVE LIVES!

The Hartford Consensus III: Implementation of Bleeding Control
“It is appropriate that experience during unavoidable ‘epidemics of trauma’ be exploited in improving our national capability to provide better surgical and medical care for our citizens.”
– Spurgeon Neel, Colonel, US Army Medical Corps.
P-O-W Care training is tailored for the civilian layperson (security personnel, private stakeholders) – yet is perfectly suitable for first responders (e.g., campus police departments.)
In order to add a sense of realism to the training, we utilize hyper-realistic simulation equipment in our Point-of-Wounding Care courses, including trauma manikins, sound effects, and live actors.

Bleeding Control for the Injured
NAEMT’s Bleeding Control for the Injured (B-Con) teaches participants basic life-saving medical interventions, including bleeding control with a tourniquet, bleeding control with gauze packs or topical hemostatic agents, opening an airway to allow a casualty to breathe. The course is designed for non-tactical law enforcement, firefighters, security personnel, teachers, and other civilians requiring this basic level of training.
